The Main Street Players are excited to present our two exciting summer acting workshops for children for 2017 at the Main Street Playhouse in the heart of beautiful Miami Lakes. Our first two week session for boys and girls from 7 to 11 begins on Monday, June 12th and ends on Friday, June 23th. Our second session for boys and girls from 12 to 16 begins on Monday, July 24th and ends on Friday, August 4th. Classes run daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm and will be limited to 16 students.
For both of these sessions, students in the workshop will develop their performance skills, learn the value of working as an ensemble and, most importantly will have fun! Daily class and rehearsals will be filled with movement, acting and exploration through the imagination - as they come together to perform a spectacular final performance for their families on the final Friday of each session.
Camp tuition for the Main Street Players’ summer camp is $450 for each two week session with a 10% discount given to returning students from the 2016 summer camp that preregister before the open registration dates that follow. Each camp will have a maximum size of 16 students. You can reserve a spot in the camp by paying a non-refundable deposit of $100 by April 1st for Session One and by May 1st for Session Two with the balance due on the first day of camp.
